Everything You Need to Know
Do I have to get in the pool?
Yes, a grown up needs to be in the pool with baby and preschool sessions, until they move to independent lessons.
How long do classes last for?
The classes are 30 minutes long.
Do I have to be able to swim?
Absolutely not. We will be there to help you every step of the way and the pool is 1.2m deep throughout so you will be able to stand during the whole lesson. We won’t ever ask you to do anything you are uncomfortable with.
Are showers available?
We ask that you shower off prior to entering the pool. We have two showers in each changing room which you can have a quick rinse off in. We ask that no products are used in the shower area.
What if my baby/child is sick?
We will certainly miss them at the lesson but stay at home and get your little one better before your next lesson. You are the judge of how they are feeling but please if they have had sickness or diarrhoea in the last 72 hours keep them at home. Unfortunately we can’t refund lessons where you or your child are ill.
If my child is ill or we miss a class for any reason do I get a refund?
I’m afraid not, your payment reserves your child’s place in that class so if they miss it unfortunately we can’t refund their lesson.
What does my baby have to wear?
They will need a secure swim nappy (disposable or reusable) and a happy nappy. Some parents put their children in a swim wrap or wetsuit which are perfect for keeping their little ones extra warm. Follow the link for ideas.

What does my child need for their lessons?
Their costume/shorts/trunks, a towel and hat/goggles if they like to wear them. Long hair should be tied up so it's away from their face. If they feel the cold, rash vests maybe worn.
Is there a viewing area?
We have a two viewing windows, where you can watch your children swim.
What if I want to cancel?
If you get in touch with our reception team or have a chat with one of our teachers they can help with any questions or queries.
